Recording Studio Policies
I. We are here to provide a professional product so we expect the same from you. Please come ready for a professional environment and have all your stuff ready. We are aware that time is money, so please make the most of your time.
III. Rentals - With advance notice and availability, we will gladly accommodate clients specific equipment requirements. Please contact us via form, phone, or email for rates.
III. Production and Talent - We can provide Producers for all types of projects, Custom music beds/jingles/sound effects, Studio musicians, and Announcers, CDs.
IV. Behavior - Please respect our studio and keep it nice for future musicians, no alcohol, drugs, or smoking allowed in the recording studio. Clients assume all responsibility to any damage occured to the studio or equipment.
V. Preparation - We encourage client to submit any beats, backgound tracks, or any oher audio needed for yoru project. It is recommended to submit this material when book your time or at least 3 days prior to your scheduled time. This will help the studio to be prepared and allow you to maximize your session time.
VI. Payment/Booking Policies - A deposit will be required to confirm all studio bookings. Such deposit shall be equal to 50% of the cost of the total quoted time booked. Deposit must be received ten days prior to session. "Future Sounds" reserves the right to waive such deposit requirement in its unfettered discretion. Studio bookings for which no deposit has been received by "Future Sounds" shall be subject to change or cancellation should management so decide, without notice to client.
Notice of a client's intent to cancel a session must be received by "Future Sounds" no later than 72 hours (3 days) before such session. If notice is not received by "Future Sounds", the client shall be liable for the cost of one half of the time booked. Client's deposit as stated above may be applied by "Future Sounds" in partial satisfaction of such liability. Sessions cancelled the same day of the scheduled session will be liable for the total cost of the booked time.
Amount of unused time booked will be charged to the client irrespective of client's failure to arrive for a session on time or in the event that the client must leave the session early, or if the session is completed before the booked time has expired. Session times begin at scheduled time. If client is late or unprepared, time will still start as scheduled. To avoid this, please arrange to arrive early.
Payment in full for materials and fees is due and payable 15 minutes before scheduled session. "Future Sounds" reserves the right to make other financial arrangements with its clients. Client(s) will pay all Future Sounds attorney's fees associated with financial collection processes for services rendered by Future Sounds or materials purchased.
No recording media in "Future Sounds" possession shall be released to clients until all open accounts have been settled and all checks tendered as payment have cleared "Future Sounds" account. To expedite this process, it is recommended to use cash.
Clients assume all risks associated with storing, on or off the premises of Future Sounds, or Future Sounds use of, any and all sound recordings, video recordings, digital data or equipment of any kind or nature and shall hold "Future Sounds" harmless from any and all damage that might occur to said articles for any reason. In any event, "Future Sounds" liability shall be limited to the replacement cost of an unrecorded media of comparable value. "Future Sounds" liability with respect to "downtime" of any and all studio sessions as a result from equipment malfunction or availability, personnel, hired musicians, acts of nature or public utility companies, etc., shall be limited solely to the studio time of such booked session; and client(s) agree to hold "Future Sounds" harmless from any and all damages from such "downtime".
"Future Sounds" makes no warranties either express or implied other than those contained herein. "Future Sounds" shall not be liable for unforeseen of consequential damages of any kind. Should "Future Sounds" be unable to conduct a booked session for any reason, then "Future Sounds" warrants that it shall re-book such canceled booking at another time that is mutually available to "Future Sounds" and the client.
VII. Mixing and Mastering - Mixing and Mastering is done on a per song basis by the engineer and the final mix will be approved by client before going to mastering. Deposit for Mixing and Mastering is due before services begin. Deposit will be half of quoted price. Full mixes and masters will be given to client when payment has been made in full.
Rates, policies, and equipment may change without displayed, written or verbal notice.
